Measure your dog for a perfect fit
1. Your pet usually wears size S, does not mean all sizes S fit him/her.
Different designers and manufacturers use their own size charts. The measurements given by manufacturer „A“ in size SMALL correspond to a size XS in the size chart of manufacturer B. Don’t buy a specific size just because that’s what you always buy at a pet store or online store. Always check the size chart for chest circumference and length and confirm the size before you commit to purchase.
2. If the measurements are between two sizes, choose the larger size.
If your measurements are towards the top of the specified size, you should also choose the larger size as you would like to do for heavily haired dogs to accommodate the entire coat.
3. Take each measurement slightly loosely.
Measure slightly loosely so that your dog has enough space to move and breathe, but not too loose. (The measurements for belly bands are the exception, they need to be a bit tight)
